Over 60 Years Experience in Transport
TransChoice was established by Kym Steele in 2008 following the introduction of new fatigue regulations that same year. Kym’s background is road transport and earth-moving – 40+ years in various roles including transporting livestock, general freight, bulk and express. Kym was also a small fleet operator on bulk haulage on the NSW South Coast. Kym moved into Operations Management while at Heggies Transport and Fleet Management at DTM Pty Ltd in Sydney.
Mick Steele brings over 20 years experience in the transport industry, More than 8yrs working with accredited transport companies and now 7 years for Transchoice Consulting, drawing on his on road experience with local, state and interstate. Also including driving and managing triple road trains in mining operations throughout Western Australia overseeing maintenance and fleet management. He also spent earlier years in distribution and warehouse management working for Castrol Oil and Kimberly Clarke’s N.D.C. in Sydney.
